[Peter Paul Media] — The death of Michael Jackson was caused by an “acute Propofol intoxication” and has been ruled a homicide, officials said Friday.
“The drugs Propofol and Lorazepam were found to be the primary drugs responsible for Mr. Jackson’s death,” a news release sent to Peter Paul Media said Friday. “Other drugs detected were: Midazolam, Diazepam, Lidocaine and Ephedrine,” the release, from the Los Angeles county coroner, added.
“The manner of death has been ruled: homicide.”
The final coroner and toxicology reports will remain sealed under a “security hold” at the request of the Los Angeles Police Department as they continue their investigation into the singers death. Jackson died on June 25 after suffering cardiac arrest. He was 50.
