NASA investigating cocaine find at Kennedy Space Centre

[PeterPaul.ca] — NASA, the U.S. space agency, said Tuesday that it was investigating a cocaine find at its Kennedy Space Centre in Florida one week ago, an official said.

NASA spokesman Allard Beutel told the Associated Press that 4.2 grams of the illegal substance was found last week but would not confirm where. The substance tested positive for cocaine, the AP reported.

This is not the first time cocaine has been discovered in a NASA facility. In January 2010, a small amount of the substance was found in a secured area which was part of a hanger which housed space shuttle Discovery.
